I am home
and feel refreshed
after my relaxed vacation...
I have a lot to say
and it's gonna
take a couple of days...
so here I go
again...
..........................................
Salt Cured Love
I let the salt waters wash over me
and they healed my insane mental disease
I opened my eyes and cried saltier tears
then I hung my soul out to dry
and it flapped in the breeze by the sea
..............................................................
The waves roll in crest of fours
erasing the prints from timeless floors
over and over and over they break
from dawn to dusk crashing sweeps
I wish I could bottle their energy
and take it home forever with me...
................................................................
Palmetto Bugs...
is just a genteel way...
of saying "big fucking roaches"!
(here, in the southern, U.S. of A.)
..............................................................................
Seared not Burned
i don't care what anybody says...
there's nothing like the feel
of a sunny beached day...
with the sounds of waves
drowning all other sounds
with the sun radiating
timeless grounds...
and you take a break from SPF
to enjoy a golden vacation...
.................................................
See?
I love the feel of sun on my skin
natures, natural vitamin C
bronzed and golden and fit to a T
I love what the sun does for ME...
....................................................
Do you love the ebb and the flow?

Welcome back! I hope your vacation was all it could be.
This post was beautiful.
Oh, welcome back. You were much missed. I am glad your soul is suntanned
I forgot to answer your question on my site. I am doing fine, a little paint-covered but that comes off easily enough.
How are you doing?
"Do you know Fred, I was sitting on this beach with the wife when this naked man ran along the beach and jumped over her"
"Blimey Bert, I bet she had a stroke!"
"Na, Fred, she couldn't get up in time."
Hope you had a nice holiday, the Sarahs' want to know what you brought them back.
I thought you took a vacation but you didn't, your poets brain kept right on cranking things out. Boy, I loved them all and all of them sound "Just like you". I don't know which one is the best, let me have another look see, hold, hold .... SALT CURED LOVE and PALMETTO BUGS, GREAT STUFF. All the others, good stuff, too.
Glad to hear that you have returned and that the trip was something you needed and that it was used wisely!!!
HEHE...so take care and "Cheers!!"

YeaaaaH! Welcome home. I have missed you. I'm glad to see you back and flowing with sunshine all over the place, with sun drenched poetry and all that stuff. I am glad you had a good time with your family, relaxed and got some rest. I am looking forward to seeing you. And nah nobody's lovin on me, it was just an illusion, I though it was real, but it wasn't, but I did get a good poem out of it, (ha!). So goes with life. Talk to you soon.
