never refer to the heart as 'silly' even though it may seem to be. the heart is the only truth of us. all the rest is rationalization. there's nothing rational about the heart and that's why it seems silly. I liked the bit about "messages
you are trying to transcend"... always trying to mean more than we say... the poet's big objective
