...and eMployEr or eMployEe
...and he said, "I will work for food"...
...(and i pray he didn't see my eyebrow raise)
...and he continued, "actually, we are partners"...
...(and soMEone said, (' inside of my head') you need to go
...and re-figure, the end benefits)...(with little,or, no doubt)...

Steady Work

Before you reMEmber
How steadfast it was...
When you put your mind to
A steady pace...and becoME

Question? (for the Men in my Life)
I was just wondering?..
(and I don't want to cause any hard feelings here)...
Are all men geared toward money, power and greed?
Where the hell is your sensitivity?
(all i need to know is it testosterone related?)
Seriously?
Or is it a test-to-one-hormonal-me?
.............................................................................
so...
you see me as 'just a partner'
!than!
we should 'just handshake'
not!...
!KISS!
............................................
Don't play me for an idiot
and I won't play you for a fool...

don't play no fool...wise and sage advice...
perhaps your question arises from a lack of available experiences, tilted the way it seemed to be, it was almost one of those i-am-making-a-statement rhetorical kinna questions, i say almost, because, and i beg for pardon here, because it's everyone who ask this question, at some point, and speaking from the point of one of my gender, i would opine, and most humbly, that some of us just make up our minds after asking that question, and live the way we have decided to. having known my share of ambitious, warlike, avaricious and powermad members of the opposite gender, i suppose the question might be a universally asked one, and decisions are possibly made that affect future behaviour from that point on...
but i dunno.
personally i think more about sex than power greed or money. i dont think that makes me sensitive, though.
i enjoyed the asking of the question, though. pause for a different thought, you know...
Hey, sounds llike a temper fit to me. Darn men, where do they come from with their poor sensitivities. do they have any at all. I have found one who seems to, here in xanga, Leonidas, check him out. You won't be sorry.
Whoops, forgot,
Life is simple for an adult. It's all just sex.
I have no money, no power, and I am only greedy for one thing, to write. And I was a man the last time I took a pee. And you can give me "hard" feelings whenever you want!
Well... I don't know about most men; however, I would rather do nothing but write and play music, read and write poetry, drink lots of whiskey, enjoy the miracles of life, and make love every chance I get.
I do have evidence of this: I'm broke, in mamouth debt, and I'm not concerned about how much, or when my money rolls in. I take it all one beautiful day at a time. In the words of a late friend of mine: "I'm damn near close to perfection." Peace.
I empathize with the point of view you raise. I've certainly seen many individuals who might fit the description you use. However, having spent most of my life raising, providing for, loving, and protecting my family, chiefly without help from the other side of the equation, I feel uncomfortable being put into such a large basket. Someone on another xanga site today was wondering why we refer to animals as 'dumb' animals. It does seem peculiar. Might it be because they express themselves in a language we have failed to understand? Many are the roads to sensitivity.
have a good day...lol
Without us men the sale of cucumbers would soar.
As my sage Auntie Haze (age 91) says, "You can't live with'em, you can't live without'em". You just don't let them know that, okay?
